My name is Mrs. Hernandez!

I am the School Social Worker at Parkview School. 

I work on the Child Study Team, providing case management for special education students and completing assessments as part of the evaluation process. In addition to case management, I provide direct and indirect services to students as well as to families and school personnel to nurture the student’s academic and social success. My goal is to help reduce problems that hinder a student's learning. Throughout the year, I have counseling groups and individual counseling sessions with students when issues are affecting them in an academic setting. Working as a collaborative team, we will identify the obstacle interfering with your student’s success, while discovering and enhancing their strengths.
