I hope this communication finds everyone well and ready for the long weekend!
As Dr. Brown communicated on Wednesday evening, it was decided by the Executive Reentry Planning Committee that we will reopen in the hybrid model beginning February 1 for Preschool and February 8 for all K-8 students.
As the 'C' cohort has been dissolved into the 'A' (Monday/Tuesday) and 'B' (Thursday/Friday), please check Genesis for any cohort changes. If there are any cohort adjustments needed, please let us know by the latest, January 25. After this date, changes will not be able to be made until the end of February, unless you are switching from 'A' or 'B' to the 'D' full virtual group. Thank you for your cooperation with this. Toward the end of the month I'll include more specific information about line up procedures, drop off loop, attendance, etc...
To follow up with Vice Principal Citro's communication earlier in the week, MAP testing will be starting Tuesday. I've attached information to this message as a point of reference.
Please take a moment this weekend to have a conversation with your children about the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. There are many books you can read together, speeches to listen to, and videos to watch to learn more about what a true hero he was for our country.
