Parents/Guardians,
As you were made aware by my previous announcement, all instruction will be transitioned to online remote learning as of today, 3/16/20. Please be sure your child logs into the Google attendance form sent by the school before 9:30am each day to record their participation in our virtual school house. Please contact your child’s teacher or the school main office, if you are unable to access the attendance form.
This is unfamiliar territory for all of us, but the district’s extensive focus on instructional technology and recent 1:1 initiative at the middle school has put us in a very strong position to ensure learning can go forward. We will have staff available to receive phone calls at the school buildings. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me, the building principal, or your child’s teacher.
For students who are enrolled in the National School Lunch Program, our food service provider will have grab and go lunches prepared. A separate email was sent to participating families with location and pick-up times. Please feel free to contact the Business Office, if you have questions.
Important information or any changes to our closure status will be communicated promptly. For now, I am confident that our staff is prepared to deliver their very best to your children, and I ask your cooperation as we make this transition.
Be well.
Dr. Stephanie Brown
Superintendent
