My name is Miss Shemesh! This is my third year teaching at Parkview and I am so thrilled to be apart of the Milltown community. I graduated with honors from Monmouth University and have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-6 and English with an endorsement in Teaching of Students with Disabilities. At Monmouth University I completed fieldwork in various classroom settings including general education, self-contained, inclusion and resource room. In addition, I student taught in Long Branch, New Jersey in first and fifth grade inclusion classrooms!
I am very family oriented. I love spending time with my two older brothers and parents! Some of my favorite things to do include crafting, going to the beach, and reading! My favorite books are The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein and Thank You, Mr. Falker by Patricia Polacco.
My name is Mrs. Scott! I love finding fun ways to help my students learn! I graduated from Ramapo College with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Elementary Education K-6 certification. I decided to return to school to receive my Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement from William Paterson University after working in a special education school as a teacher’s assistant. I then worked in Paterson as a Resource Teacher which provided me the opportunity to work in inclusion, general education, and resource classrooms. I am now lucky enough to enter my third year as a part of the Milltown community!
I am also very family oriented. Most of my weekends are spent with my family and my husband's family. I love going down the shore, running, being outside, and cooking. I am always on the hunt for new recipes to try!
