I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I attended Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania where I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in both English and Spanish. This is also where I met my husband. The two of us got married and moved to North Brunswick just after we graduated from college. We lived in North Brunswick for some time. Before working as an educator, I worked as a secretary at Bristol-Myers Squibb and as the membership coordinator for the Chamber of Commerce of the Princeton Area. A little after our son, Scott, was born we moved to Milltown. Scott is currently in the 7th grade at Joyce Kilmer. We have a dog named Sheldon. I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Some of my favorite things include time with my family, genealogy, reading, and good food. I am a big fan of Mr. Rogers. One my favorite quotes from him is
“There are three ways to ultimate success:
The first way is to be kind.
The second way is to be kind.
The third way is to be kind.”
I have worked as a paraprofessional in Milltown for 3 years. This is my second year teaching Spanish for k-3 grade. I am excited to be in my first year as a full-time teacher.
